- IT Director
The Pit River Tribe is seeking an experienced OIS (Office of Information Systems) Director to oversee all IT (Information Technology) functions for the Pit River Tribe. The OIS/IT Director will manage the company’s technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies. The candidate must be very knowledgeable in IT and computer systems and have a solid technical background while able to manage and motivate people within the Tribal organization to learn and become compliant with the Tribes IT policies. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and implementing IT policies and systems that will meet Tribal objectives. The goal of these policies and processes is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time and specifications of the Pit River Tribe.
- Roads Civil Engineer (Open Until Filled)
The Pit River Tribe Roads Department is soliciting applications for a Civil Engineer II to survey, design, and provide project management of a range of roads, bridge, and trail projects from conception through to completion. The location of various projects will be within the Tribe's 100-mile square area.
- Roads Technician
The Pit River Roads Department is taking applications for seasonal full-time Roads Technician to work out of the Burney and Alturas Offices. Various work projects will be located within the Tribe’s 100-mile square area or locations determined by Roads Coordinator.
- Daycare Aide
Provide direct care and supervision of children as directed by Daycare Coordinator or the Acting Director in his / her absence. Have direct contact and communication with parents and / or guardians of children enrolled. Assist in the development of program content and curriculum with the ability and desire to be involved in all aspects of childcare from infancy through twelve years old. Must be sensitive and caring to infant’s and children’s needs. Carry out activities in compliance with licensing regulations and Quality Assurance standards, interacting with all children, all ages in all activities. Transport or walk children to and from home, bus stop, activities, and health appointments as needed.
- Cultural Information Officer
The Cultural Information Officer will assist in developing work plans in accordance with the THPO Grant and with the direction of the Pit River Tribal Cultural Committee. This position will be tasked with a specific scope of work funded under this grant and decided upon by the THPO and Pit River Tribe Cultural Resource Committee. Tasks are subject to change when new funding or grant requirements are received.
- USFS Archaeological Aid
This position is located on a Forest Service Unit. It serves as a member of an archeological survey crew. The position is established for the purpose of aiding in basic archeological compliance through field work.
- USFS Timber Technician
This position is established on a forest Service unit to perform technical duties in support of the timber management program.
- USFS Recreation Management Specialist
The position is located at a Forest Service unit. This is a basic trainee position designed to orient incumbent to the wilderness, recreation, trails, and special uses program for the unit.

- Mudslingers Coffee Shop Manager
The coffee shop manager prepares their store for the coming day, making sure the shop is clean, and that all necessary coffee and related supplies are ready behind the counter for the use of the baristas during the day. At various times through the week, the manager inventories supply in the coffee shop and completes any purchasing based on these assessments. The manager may be called upon to help check-in deliveries and ensure the accuracy of shipments received.
